The greek doctor Anthimus writes this letter for the barbarian (frank) king Theuderik I: an early attempt to educate meat-eater barbarian population of central europe with mediterranean wisdom.

Bernart de Ventadorn is amongst the most famous “trobadours” of XII century. His poetry and music influenced all the production of the XIII century. Find here the link to all his known songs complete with lyrics and music

This is the most ancient complete “love song” that we can listen in italian language. It dates back between 1180 and 1220, a century before Dante. A document containing both words and music has been recently discovered in Milan and is named “Papiro Ravennate”.
